I lie dormant in my isolation waiting for the company of another.
The one thing I truly want will never want me back.
This is all I ask for and it tears me apart knowing that you're out of my reach.
I will never know everything about you.
I will never share the same sheets.
And I will never feel your blessed touch again.
How I miss your eyes staring longingly into mine.
These memories will be the death of me.
With the passing of time things have gotten worse.
Memories come into fruition of when we were at our peak.

Where you were once bright,

Over the years, the spread of your eclipse growing wider.
I tried, I tried, I fucking tried.
I burned to keep your flames bright.
As light faded, it brought our disintegration.
My anger, my frustration, and stubborn outlook on life,
Helped block out your light.
I thought of you as my Sun,
But an eclipse has been edging its way,
In front of you since this started.
Where you were once bright,
You turned to dark, and we fade to dusk.
I took the Sun from your life, and tried to replace it with myself,
When I am not bright enough to do so.
The darkness within me spread to you, like a plague,
Passing from person, to person.
